Cake Decorating even a child can do

Our Activity Night for Young Womens was so much fun. One of our teachers taught us how to decorate cakes. She was such a wonderful teacher. Lindsay and Ashley came with me and they made these cakes. I helped Ashley a little bit and Lindsay did her cake ALL ALONE! I am serious. The cakes speak for themselves. Ashley made the Dora cake for her sister since she loves Dora and Lindsay made the fish cake. YUM!

Fun at the Beach

I love being at the beach. I took my girls to Seaside, Oregon for a day trip today. It was a lot of fun. The weather was absolutely perfect. Here are some fun pictures of the girls and their friend that we took with us. One of these days I will figure out how to post pictures with the wording in the correct place.

What a Country We Live In!

We had such a fun Fourth of July! We went to my brother and sister in law's home and we had a barbeque and the kids played in the pool and sprinklers. We had a great time.

As the fireworks were blaring over the home that we were at, I would duck thinking that a firecracker would hit me on the head. It was like I was in a war zone with so many going off. I sat there thinking, what would it be like to be in another country that is in war right now. I would be so worried about bombs hitting my home, my family or my friends. I am so glad that I live in such a wonderful country that we are able to pretty much do what we want. We can be whatever we want to be. We can go to whatever church we choose to go to. We can do so many things that we/I take for grantid every day.

I love this wonderful country! I love the Fourth of July!
