I absolutely LOVE spur of the moment trips for a couple of reasons. One reason is that I do not have to hear my kids ask how many more days until our trip and our second reason is they are just so much fun! Over Valentines Day we decided to get a hotel for two nights in Seattle that had a pool and continental breakfast.
The first day we spent it swimming and just enjoying ourselves. The second day we decided to go to the Museum of Flight. It was amazing how many cool things we were able to see and do.Ashley was such a wonderful NASA Control Person.
Aren't they adorable?
This is Mitchell's kind of toy, a simulated hangliding ride.
We were able to walk in the footsteps of Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon on this presidential 707 jet. It was AMAZING to see! What a special airplane in our American History!
What President did this? :)
Hailey will one day be our astronaut.
It was an amazing place to take the kids. I did not get a picture but they have a replica of Boeing Fields Flight Tower where you can see where all of the airplanes were traveling all over the United States. My favorite part had to be the part where you could hear air traffic control from the actual airport.
We then headed to Rainforest Cafe for Lunch. If you have never been here it is such a fun place for kids. They have animated rainforest animals.
