Running Club
During recess at West Union Elementary School they have Running Club. This is where they run laps around the field and upon doing so it is added up how many laps/miles they run. The children receive prizes and ultimately run a marathon over time and receive a t-shirt.
Hailey decided this would be something fun to do so during every lunch recess she ran.
On January 5 she finished her last lap and received her "I Ran A Marathon" t-shirt. She was so excited because she was only the second child in her school to receive such an honor.
She did it!!!
Snow Days
We had a couple of snow days this year and had some fun playing in the snow. Mitchell decided to stay home one day and so we went up the hill to Stub Stewart State Park and went sledding. We brought Deven Allison, our neighbor, along with us.
I love all of the snow filled trees.

Someone made a fun sledding hill through the woods that we had to try out.
It was a fun day especially since Calvin slept in the car the whole time and was nice and warm.
